Short Reviews
I have fairly little to say about this abstract. It's based
on a collection of interviews of paroled child molestors. The
distinction between pedophilia and child molestation is not made. The
result of all this is some sweeping generalizations, such as
"Pedophilia develops from a dysfunctional family, where the
individual's emotional needs for love and acceptance were thwarted."
I felt that nothing in the abstract was relevant to my
experiences. One can only hope that Dr. DiNallo aspires to a higher
standard of research in his subsequent work.
