Hosting Clarification

Over the last few days, the site has shown all the security of a light aircraft containing Geoffrey Leonard and a tabloid journalist.
This was due to wider problems concerning our host, and then a knock on effect of their new fix. At this stage, it looks like all issues have been resolved, and hosting should return to maximum efficiency.

They’re still having trouble 🙁
I have sent a report form to the host. The site is still down for large periods of the day.
Some progress is being made now. I have disabled / re-enabled DNS for the .com alias, and the .com alias itself. It appears that the newgon.nfshost.com domain has always been working.
Hopefully, this is the last I hear about the .com going down. It’s been playing up for ten days now.
Just looked at the hits. It appears that we’re all clear now.
Comments on connectivity are welcome.
I was having a lot of connection difficulty earlier in the week, but the last couple of days the site seems to me to have been operating fine. All back to normal hopefully!
I still find that the nfshost domain appears on the front page of the blog.
P.s. are you enjoying Wendy O’Connell (the thing in the header)?
I’m not seeing nfshost…do you get that in the title url?
The Wendy O’Connell thing is inspired. Must confess that that the artwork accompanying your “‘Child’ and ‘Sex'” post does a bit more for me, however!
Yes, whenever I access the blog in a way other than inputting the url myself, it redirects to the “permanent” nfshost domain – newgon.nfshost.com.
Strato… would you like a moderator’s account?
would you like a punch in the mouth?
Hello, Frank.
