There seems to be no therapy of pedophilia. This does not mean that there are no possibilities to help. Therapy can help pseudo-pedophiles - people who make sex with children because they have problems with adults.
Group therapy in pedophile self-help groups is an effective treatment of the "isolated minority syndrome" (Fog 1992).
We have to discuss ethical questions - the aim of a therapy and how to measure their success. This is necessary because many pedophiles do not even want a therapy. That's why they often will be forced to make a therapy - in a situation there even the possibility of a successful therapy is at least questionable.
