Schurgard is of note as a man who publicly "outed" himself as a pedophile on-line and then produced some provocative and sometimes satirical videos depicting his exploits and friendships. He was sentenced to 85 years in jail for filming a 14 year old boy dancing naked (and according to cerius.org below, additional political reasons). Schurgard had his website taken down in 2000.
