In the summer of 2007, it was taken down by Google. Hosting was enhanced to a paid service laid on by the minority provider NearlyFreeSpeech.net, and Debate Guide became a subsection of Newgon.com, where it struggled for some time before being given its own domain. Debate Guide continues to operate from its own domain, although all of the up to date second-level content is now hosted on NewgonWiki, after Newgon.com's Admin-Friendly revamp.
