Agecuck

An agecuck is defined within the incelosphere and parts of the manosphere as an individual who opposes romantic and/or sexual relationships to people, usually women, solely because their chronological age is lower than an arbitrary limit. The age limit embraced by agecucks is usually 18 years, regardless of physical and mental maturity.

Agecucks might be defined as men who subconsciously try to attack competing men because they are secretly attracted to the "minor" woman themselves, or older women who are trying to shame men for being attracted to women younger than themselves, to eliminate competition from the "dating pool".

Agecucks are thought to label men attracted to physically mature teenage women as "pedophiles" due to the high shock value of that word, even though "pedophilia" means attraction to prepubescent people. This is possible due to the social construct "age of majority", which labels people ranging from both toddlers and mature teenagers with the overarching umbrella term "minors", disregarding their differences in physical maturity.

It has been common over time for heterosexual couples to include a younger woman, given that women on average enter puberty earlier and mature faster than men, and women usually desire more mature and sexually experienced men.

Male agecucks can themselves be secretly sexually attracted to physically mature reproductive teenage women who happen to be younger than 18 years, but might not admit it due to social implications.

The idea that romantic relationships and eroticism are traumatic by default to teenagers is a social construct. Incels have argued that in males, sex during puberty does not cause permanent brain damage - the lack thereof does.

It has been hypothesized that women are shamed by agecucks into accepting that any sex as a minor is traumatic and abusive (expectation bias), and that women who were already sexually active as "minors" have changed their minds retroactively, even if they originally did not perceive it as such (see #Alanis Morissette).

Case studies

Jax

One example of an "agecuck" is "Jax" on YouTube, who infantilizes mature teenage women in his video "Why Have There Been So Many Child Groomers Recently?", even referring to men dating or sleeping with women who have already become legal adults (18 years old) as "groomers", due to those women being close to being minors.

Here, Jax argues against using the law to determine morality, while ironically using the rigid and arbitrary number of years of age in the law to distinguish between "minors" and "adults":

[03:09] This guy, Charem, groomed somebody who was underage into being a participant into NSFW conversations and engagement as soon as they turned 18. Some freaks who believe the law determines morality believe this is OK for some reason, despite this literally being textbook grooming.

Here, "Jax" fails to address the argument (because he couldn't) and resorted to an ad-hominem attack instead:

[16:17] He frequently attempted to manipulate the victim by talking about "maturity", and saying that "age doesn't matter, only maturity does", which is a common justification by predators such as this.

Alanis Morissette

Canadian singer Alanis Morissette (born in 1974) became sexually active at the age of 15, meaning in the year 1989 or 1990. This is before 2008, where the age of consent in Canada was raised from 14 to 16, so the adult man who slept with her did not violate the law at that time.

She originally enjoyed intercourse with the adult man, but was thereafter patronized by the people around her that something horrible was done to her, until she started believing it:

It took me years in therapy to even admit there had been any kind of victimization on my part. I would always say I was consenting, and then I'd be reminded like 'Hey, you were 15, you're not consenting at 15.' Now I'm like, 'Oh yeah, they're all pedophiles. It's all statutory rape.'

The erotic acts could be said to have had no intrinsic harm.
