Bill Andriette
Bill Andriette is an American journalist and gay activist, who often writes in a positive way about intergenerational relationships, especially in their political aspects. Andriette was the Features Editor of The Guide, a gay travel and entertainment magazine published in Boston. He has had a long involvement with the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), having joined the organization as a 15-year-old very soon after its inauguration. He says he started having gay sex with men at the age of 14 in an unsupportive environment, and recalls these experiences as positive.
Andriette believes that the gay movement has sold out by not acknowledging the boy-lovers within its ranks. He has become a trenchant critic of gay assimilationism and rainbow revisionism / pinkwashing, alongside other political defenders of age-gap sex such as David Thorstad.
