Michael Salter
Professor Michael A. Salter[1] is the Director of Childlight UNSW, the Australasian hub of Childlight, the Global Child Safety Institute, which undertakes research for impact on Child Sexual Abuse and exploitation, and head of the Ritual Abuse Mind Control Organized Abuse Special Interest Group (RAMCOA SIG).[2] He is joined in this organization by members of The Leadership Council.
Some groups such as Prostasia Foundation and various Satanist advocacy groups have described Salter as an anti-porn conspiracy theorist and as the "academic wing of a resurging Satanic Panic".[3] He is nevertheless a highly influential academic within Australian government and the lead author of the largest child sexual abuse perpetration prevalence study ever conducted.[1]
Salter has frequently been seen commentating on Minor Attracted People via X, formerly known as Twitter. In 2024, he published a paper criticizing use of the term in academia.[4]
