MAP Identity is a fluid, evolving and exciting modern social trend, visible today in multiple online communities. MAPs were also present in historical queer communities. The idea of queer MAPs is today highly controversial and the subject of misinformation. One queer organization is supporting MAP inclusion and takes part in public events.
