Epifora
Epifora, Inc. was a Montreal-based company which provided secure web hosting service to many childlove-oriented websites and organizations. It prided itself on accepting legal but controversial sites which have a hard time finding stable hosting elsewhere.
In October 2006, Epifora's Internet connectivity was terminated by the provider, MCI Canada, after its parent company Verizon had been subject to a campaign of complaints from the anti-pedophile vigilante organization Perverted Justice.[1] This was the start of the 2006 Epifora outage, during which many of the websites of Epifora's clients were down for varying periods until Epifora regained stable connectivity outside of Canada, later closing down due to a lack of support.
