Alternative Initialisms or Acronyms for a gender/sexual identity umbrella movement have been suggested as a solution to the ongoing fragmentation of the modern LGBTQI+ movement into assimilationist and radical subsets, and the increasing visibility of paraphiles and MAPs.

The inclusion of the term "Queer" with the specifier "Invalid(ated)" is intended to place emphasis on the historical and theoretical meaning of Queerness. The acronym eliminates lesbians, gays and bisexuals, as assimilated groups, but does not exclude them on the basis of Queerness or Invalidity - for example in countries which criminalize expressions of homosexuality.
  • QTIP+ has also been suggested as a shorter version, but is also in use for a patented personal hygiene product and a musician.
  • LGBTP To include pansexuals or pedophiles has been suggested, although often in the context of trolling, due to the pejorative nature of the term "pedophile". Dr James Cantor, a gay psychologist, has been known to support the inclusion of pedophiles in principle, with his series of infamous "include the P" tweets.
  • LGBTPZN is said to be a "MAP-Adjacent" alternative umbrella in Japan, but reports as to its validity vary.[1]
  • MNNI stands for Marginalized Non Normative Identities.[2]. Similar to MOGAI (Marginalized Orientations, Gender Alignments, and Intersex) but these (at least the latter) appear not to be inclusive of MAPs.

Radical Pride/Radqueer/Radical Inclusionism

While not an initialism, Radical Pride and Radqueer identities have emerged as alternatives to corporatized and revisionist, assimilationist pride movements. In some cases, the term "Radical Inclusionism" is employed.
