Newgon (via the Yesmap.net server) now runs a Rocketchat server for trusted associates, tech support and researchers only.
The following platforms may all have one or more Newgon members or editors on them, and represent only part of the community.
Mastodon/Fediverse
We are also supporting a Mastodon instance which has now opened for applications.
Other fediverse instances exist, federating other servers, for example, MAPSupport.de. Others tolerate NSFW content such as NN and lolicon that may violate local statutes.
Chat (unaffiliated)
We maintain an internal channel for researchers and writers with a proven track record. Regular users of NewgonWiki may alternatively benefit from membership to any number of Matrix chat groups.
These are all completely independent of Newgon, but some maintain historical links with it, and are more or less aligned with its aims. Newgon members are also known to be present in some of these groups:
- PCMA (about) - An activist organization now associated with the address #pcma-public:chagai.website (official).
- Open MAP Community is also running a Matrix server: #omc:crypted.cafe - this is a more conventional space and less likely to connect you with actual members of Newgon, or people who know the admins.
