Hypocrisy among antis

Hypocrisy among antis occurs when a person (usually male) who has expressed violent dislike for MAPs or made a career out of Child Sexual Abuse is exposed as having one or more credible accusations or criminal convictions for child pornography or contact offending against a minor.

In 2022/23, Newgon began to collate examples of publicly-known hypocrisy, and suspected hypocrisy among antis as part of their information-gathering (see below). A number of groups were identified as exhibiting a high risk for hypocrisy:

Police Officers. While Newgon does not collate these examples full-time, police officers are expected to uphold high standards of public protection. However, in any given week, it it not unusual to find over 15 news stories of officers being caught with child pornography or contact offending against a child. As per the sources below, in particular, the Daily Mail, amazingly it appears that UK officers are ten times more likely than male controls, to be caught with CP. Insiders such as Jim Gamble and Kenneth Lanning have expressed concern at these alarming trends.

It is an insider joke that Law Enforcement agencies only carry out their many stings against "predators" to balance the books against the tens among their own ranks who get caught every month for similar offenses.

Vigilante Operatives. Newgon located and confirmed numerous examples of American and British "anti-pedophile" vigilantes who sought to take the law into their own hands, but then fell foul of it themselves. As Gamble notes, many of these individuals have domestic abuse and coercive control, but there are also considerable among their number who sexually offend against children.

Biker gangs. The biker narrative is that of a larger than life male who comes clean about his past transgressions and turns a new page. But many of these groups, particularly those who virtue signal against child abuse are also harbouring a disturbingly high proportion of child sex offenders.

Conspiracy Theorists. The QAnon and Pizzagate conspiracies purported to expose pedophilic corruption all the way up to the very top of society. However, numerous conspiracy influencers have now been exposed for their sexual offending against minors, and it seems what credibility they did have, has been slowly eroded by such cases.

Prevention professionals. We take no pleasure in identifying that a concerningly high number of prevention professionals have been convicted of sexual offences against children. Similar to police officers, these people are trusted by the public to uphold the basic safety of young people, but often come up short in this regard.

Politicians. In the 2020s, an increasing proportion of confirmed hypocrites are being identified among lawmakers. This is unsurprising, given how grooming has become a highly charged political issue in the same period.
